Barnwood Wall Cladding

Reclaimed barnwood lumber is a great choice when it comes to cladding accent walls and other vertical spaces.  You can choose from a variety of materials and joints.  Creating your perfect barnwood wall is easy - just start with our Design Your Wall quote tool.

Our reclaimed barnwood lumber wall cladding comes from authentic, historic barns.  The exterior barnwood is typically old-growth pine, but may vary.  Exterior barnwood has withstood over 100 years of weather.  Interior barnwood material will vary and reflects whatever was locally available.  The wood is typically 3/4 of an inch thick, 4-7 inches wide, with lengths varying from 3-15 feet.

As with most reclaimed barnwood lumber, the wood comes in many different shades and may include knots, knot holes, whorls, cracks, checks, and nail holes.  These "imperfections" are what provide the cladding their rustic character.  Reclaimed barnwood wall cladding also has rough spots and circle-milled saw cut marks.  While some will want to retain these features, we can also plane the lumber for a smoother finish.
