Barnwood Shelving

Searching for rustic looking shelves to add to your kitchen, bathroom or family room?  EnVue offers reclaimed barnwood shelving and rustic brackets that are ideal for any project.  Creating your perfect barnwood shelf is easy - just start with our Design Your Shelf quote tool.

Our barnwood shelving typically comes from the floor joists of authentic, historic barns.  The lumber is oak or beach, some over 150 years old.  Shelving comes in a circle-milled style with the saw cuts visible, which were cut at a mill.  Shelving is typically 1-2 inches thick, 6-12 inches wide, and between 4-12 feet long.

Generally, the lumber has never been painted, resulting in a natural finish.  As with most reclaimed barnwood lumber, the wood may include cracks, nail holes, and knots, which adds unique character to each beam.  Reclaimed barnwood shelving might also contain rough spots and saw cut marks.  While some will want to retain these features, we can also plane the lumber for a smoother finish.

Important notes: Shelves do not come in exact width and thicknesses - an 8 inch width might range anywhere from 7 3/4 to 8 1/2 inches.  Thicknesses, widths, and lengths are subject to availability.
